Phone Systems now Pop FaceBook & LinkedIn

UK national phone systems installers 1700cc are beta trialling a completely innovative piece of software that screen-pops caller’ Face Book pages and Linked-In profiles with incoming calls. When your office phone systems ring it simultaneously activates a screen-pop of the inbound caller social information based on the Caller-ID. This will put a prompt stop to canvassers pretending to be somebody that they aren’t.
The results when linked to Linked In can be funny when telephone sellers are not being honest. Operations Manager, Les Prenton says “We were called by someone claiming to be from the Chamber of Commerce yesterday. But with the benefit of the CTI-Exchange I was better informed and could see that they were calling from a publishing firm. When I cross questioned the salesman he stammered an excuse whilst arguing that he was speaking on behalf of Chambers.” It was amusing to listen to him back peddling.
The action is instantaneous, giving recipients the option to consider rejecting a call if they believe that it may be misdirected to them. A selection of versions are offered and all will connect simultaneously to multiple data sources. The entry level variety is named “Dial” and is appropriate for an active link to Lotus Notes and Microsoft Outlook. The mass market offering is branded as “Presence” and supports; MS Access, Goldmine, Act! By Sage and Maximizer in addition to the standard compatibilities. Whereas the top of the range version works with; SageLine 50, Sage-CRM, Micro-soft CRM, Netsuite, SugarCRM, SuperOffice, Salesforce,and any ODBC database.
The newest release that brings this Mark Zuckerberg connectivity to Phone Systems will go on sale to businesses in June 2011 .
